Our new 700 Hunter is a classically-styled Ultra Carbon hand laminated sporting riflestock designed specifically to the Remington 700 rifles as well as the various precision receivers with a similar footprint.
Weighing in at just 22-25 ounces, it is our lightest, handiest classic for the demanding precision rifle hunter.
Stocky’s Take: There are now 3 versions of our classic hunting stock, two 700’s and the Howa / Tikka. They all have the exact same grip and butt, including the SVL Limbsaver buttpad. Aside from the length, the primary differences between the 700 versions and the non-700 versions are the receiver bedding areas - namely the non-700 stocks are made to fit some other receivers better than a conventional 700 stock. The NEW 700 Hunter (this one) was molded to the receiver profiles of the various 700 precision receivers (and bolt handles) for a more custom look than could be achieved with the Howa version.
They all can be ordered with your choice of sporter, varmint / Sendero Lite and Sendero barrels.

- the NEW UltraCarbon 700 Hunter - (this stock) this is the famous Hunter 1500 stock adjusted to fit the Remington 700 Precision Receivers perfectly. The grip-to-tang region is streamlined to precisely follow the contour of the factory 700 and aftermarket precision metal. Comes in both the BDL as well as the PTG AICS detachable conversion triggerguards.
