Shipping & Returns

Stocky's Complete Satisfaction Promise: You'll be pleased or your money back within 10 days of receipt on unused, unaltered, undamaged items purchased from normal inventory less order processing and shipping charges if applicable. Exchanges are cheerfully accepted if you pay the freight. (There are a few obvious exceptions to this such as factory blems, discontinued/closeout merchandise, certain rare or hard-to-get items, etc.. These are clearly noted on the individual product pages on the web site.) Please be kind and re-package it well for the return ride and remember to insure it! Defective merchandise and/or errors are cheerfully replaced or refunded at our option and may be subject to manufacturers' inspection process.

Please forward a copy of your email order confirmation to for a return authorization with a description of the problem. Kindly do write the number on the outside of the box, placing a copy of your paperwork in the box with the item so we know where it came from. Please be considerate and re-pack it well. It is important to note that the packaging materials often become worn or compressed during the original shipment and you should plan on using new box(es) and other protective material to return a fine riflestock. Please use UPS, US Mail and FedEx are the worst possible methods, we discourage their use from hard experience.

When you compare those that do versus those that do not, there's often a big difference in product pricing, so if you want a bargain this is one of the responsibilities everyone has to accept as part of the low price. Stocky only reimburses for shipping when it is 1) pre-approved; 2) our error, and/or 3) when the manufacturer reimburses us.

Due to the nature of our pastime many of the items we sell are designed to be altered, modified or otherwise customized. We are even happy to work with you and suggest such modifications. However, once you begin to make them be aware your stock is now yours. Unauthorized returns, damaged items, or items that have been altered from their original state are not eligible for refunds or exchanges for obvious reasons.

In stock items ship in 1-2 business days. 



It is an excellent practice to notify your family, front office, freight personnel, administrative person(s) and/or neighbors that you are expecting a shipment and to kindly notify you a.s.a.p. when it arrives. Most 'lost' packages we investigate are found to be in the possession of a spouse, neighbor, receptionist or other person that may have been present when it was delivered. For residential deliveries it is not a bad idea to make arrangements and leave those instructions (i.e. "Please leave package with [neighbor's name & address] next door, with the front office, etc.") via a 'Post-It' note in a less-than-conspicuous (but visible) place for the driver to see when he walks up to knock on the door.

Entering your tracking number directly into the tracking site the day after we ship it will reveal the anticipated arrival date as well as allow you to get delivery updates via email PLUS another email shortly after it arrives even if you are away. This can change, we advise re-checking a day or two before the expected date as well, to see if there was a weather delay or any other delivery issues. You can call United Parcel Service at 1-800-PICK-UPS for updates as well.


If it not being updated real-time in their online tracking system, re-check the next day online and/or call UPS (1-800-PICK-UPS) for an update. Once in a blue moon the UPS tracking site will not actually pick-up the scans correctly and a phone call 'jump-starts' their system so the info 'magically' appears.

In the unlikely event it does not arrive on time, before you do anything, check the tracking number as above. If it shows 'delivered' first check with those persons mentioned above, obviously everyone concerned needs that question answered before proceeding. It always seems to show up even if it wasn't tracked all the way out, and 99.99% of the 'lost' packages are discovered, awaiting your arrival with a spouse, co-worker or neighbor.


Truly lost? Freight damage? You're covered, all UPS and Fedex shipments are insured! Since every item is inspected prior to shipment, if your factory-new item arrived dinged please save all packaging materials and simply notify UPS immediately. Don't stress, we'll be happy to take it from there. As a UPS Premier Account customer, UPS will want to make arrangements directly with you to pick it up at your earliest convenience, they (and you) will kindly let us know the situation and your replacement will ship out as soon as we can verify the damaged item was returned.

Warning - Export and Import Restrictions

Export from the United States of certain products is strictly prohibited without a valid export license issued by the U.S. Department of State, in accordance with the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (“ITAR”) (22C.F.R. 120-130), or a valid export license issued by the U.S. Department of Commerce, in accordance with the Export Administration Regulations (“EAR”) (15 C.F.R. 730-774). Furthermore, United States law prohibits the sale, transfer or export of items to certain restricted parties,destinations, and embargoed countries, as identified on lists maintained by the U.S. Department of State, the U.S. Department of Commerce, and the U.S. Department of Treasury. It is your responsibility to be aware of these lists and the items identified thereon. You certify, by proceeding with this or any transaction with us, that you will not engage in any unauthorized transaction involving the export of products to any restricted parties or destinations. You further certify, by proceeding with any transaction to purchase any items, that you will comply with all requirements imposed by all applicable laws, regulations and administrative policies. Stocky's reserves the right to inquire into the end user, end use, and country of ultimate destination of any product that it sells to you or anyone else.
