This stock is for the Remington 597 with the factory barrel. The thumbhole is for a LEFT HANDED shooter. it is in the Timber with a satin finish.

It comes with a durable, ding-resistant, non-reflective, no-spook, waterproof finish.
These features give this model a great feel both off the bags and offhand, with many shooters mounting a bipod in the forward region just in front of the receiver.
