Stocky's Take: We fit the Tikka models very tightly, there is literally no slop. When you first set in your barreled action into place that is probably the first thing you will notice. Because the recoil lug is seperate from the receiver, getting it seated correctly is of primary importance. With your recoil lug bottomed in the stock, you must have at least about 0.070" protruding into the receiver slot to be considered acceptable. Ideal is 0.0800" to 0.0900".

Unfinished Carbon - these are literally shipped just about how they came from the mold, with any cosmetic imperfections we notice addressed by our staff. Some minor cosmetic spots may remain such as small areas of porosity, tooling marks and carbon fiber burrs. You can use these stocks as they are, touch them up or just scuff and paint, now or down the road.

VG-CF Tikka T#X
very nicely done; fit is perfect. It has bumped up my accuracy about 1/2 moa over the factory stock. the only con for me is the stock is too slick and Stocky's does not offer texturing- so I've done my own. I bought a second one because I want my day and night rifles to feel the same. I think there are better stocks on the market but for the price I'm very happy.

Great stock... very happy with it
I bought a VG carbon Fiber Hunter for my Tikka T3x. Overall very happy with my new stock. The fit and finish are very good, and it feels more substantial than the factory stock. It's about 3 oz lighter. It came with a new recoil lug. It fit the action perfectly but I had to do a very tiny bit of sanding to get the bottom metal in. The fit was very snug. After that it was just torque down the action screws and go shoot it. My first group (10 shots) was 1-1/4 wide and 7/8 hi. I think the L/R stringing was me and not the rifle. Very happy with how it shoots. The LOP with the Stocky's thin Limbsaver is about 3/4" shorter than my factory Tikka stock with a 1" thick Limbsaver.

Tikka t3x stock
I ordered a backordered stock. I knew it was on backorder. Was happy with the speed of production and shipping. I may be mistaken but I thought the accublock stocks had an aluminum foundation and the stock built around it. Upon receiving the stock and my visual inspection I can't see any aluminum anywhere. Like I said I may be mistaken. The stock is solid built. No flex anywhere. Barrel fits in the groove perfectly. Barreled action fit snug without any wiggling. Pleased.

Vg2 for Tikka
Overall, happy with the product. My only complaint would be the barrel channel. I also purchased one for my daughter's Howa Mini and both needed the barrel channel sanded out to make them free floating. Other than that minor ordeal, really great option for a hunting rifle upgrade. If the barrel channel would not require additional work after paying the premium price tag, it would be a 5/5. Also helped with the recoil impulse on the 7prc I put it on.
