Our new TIKKA VGH is a vertical grip Ultra Carbon hand laminated sporting riflestock. Weighing in at just 650 grams (23 ounces) it is the lightest, handiest hunting and target stock in our popular vertical grip design for the demanding Tikka rifleman. Available in your choice of our dipped and painted finishes, including our new Cerrakote sponges.
Stocky's Take: We fit the Tikka models very tightly, there is literally no slop. When you first set in your barreled action into place that is probably the first thing you will notice. Because the recoil lug is seperate from the receiver, getting it seated correctly is of primary importance. With your recoil lug bottomed in the stock, you must have at least about 0.070" protruding into the receiver slot to be considered acceptable. Ideal is 0.0800" to 0.0900".

Unfinished Carbon - these are literally shipped just about how they came from the mold, with any cosmetic imperfections we notice addressed by our staff. Some minor cosmetic spots may remain such as small areas of porosity, tooling marks and carbon fiber burrs. You can use these stocks as they are, touch them up or just scuff and paint, now or down the road.

STOCKY'S NEXTGEN ULTRA CARBON™ HUNTER VG (VERTICAL GRIP) COMPOSITE ACCUBLOCK® STOCKS - TIKKA T3/T3X
This stock is great! It weighs 26.90 oz which is less than the factory stock on my Tikka T3x super lite which weighed 28.15 oz. This stock is SUPER stiff, I don't think I can flex it at all by hand. When I try to flex it by the barrel the barrel flexes and the stock stays straight. The paint job is gorgeous, I got the carbon sagebrush, it looks better than the pictures! It was a perfect drop-in fit, no fitment required, it could not have been a better fit. Took 2 minutes to install it and I love it. It is a bit shorter in length than the OE stock so I ended up taking off my bipod, otherwise I wouldn't be able to put my hand on the stock where I wanted but that should be fine. Overall I'm very happy with my purchase.

Fit Perfectly
shipping was prompt. I received the stock undamaged. this replaced the factory stock on my 10 yr old Tikka T3Lite. this stock is surprisingly light, even compared to the hollow factory stock. Fit to rifle was perfect. action fits very tight. new recoil lug was included in packaging. I got the sporter barrel cut and it fit my barrel, perfectly centered. I can slide a plastic sandwich bag up to the action without snagging on the stock. I have a 4-16x44 scope mounted in Warne Maxima split ring mounts, directly on the receiver dovetail, and the comb height is perfect. no adjusting my head position to see the full view in the scope. the grip is very vertical with thick palm swells, but it has a narrower section near the tang that permits 2 hand carry, in the field, very comfortably/naturally, as opposed to a true pistol grip on a chassis. I did have to spend about 3 minutes trimming with a knife to permit the magazine catch to work freely, but I have found that every aftermarket stock I have ever purchased needs a little hand trimming to have a prefect fit. my only complaint is that I wish there was a second sling swivel stud on the forend, and a couple of flush cups (QD swivel) on the left side.

Ultra carbon hunter
I'd seen negative comments about Stocky's, but decided to try them and was amazed at the quality. I've been a stockmaker for over 40 years and truly wish I'd had these available over the years.
